We will collect your waste fryolator oil and pay YOU for the privilege.
How the service works:
A Smartfuel driver will provide you with clean, 55-gallon barrels. We will work with you to determine an appropriate number of barrels to make sure that we can accommodate your waste-oil needs. We will also leave you with extra barrels in case you reach capacity early.
Smartfuel is committed to maintaining clean barrels, therefore we will swap your barrels regularly and keep them clean as we go.
*Let us know if you are either unable to accommodate a barrel or have other containment needs. We can work with you to create a solution for your individual situation.
Payment:
Effective April 2011, we have established a variable payment system. We base our payment pricing on a simple formula: The price of a barrel of crude oil divided by 100= the amount you will receive for one gallon of waste fryolator oil. For example, if the price of crude oil is $100/barrel you will receive $1.00 per gallon for your waste fryolator oil. ** Our price is based on the average monthly US crude oil price as stated by the US Energy Information Administration.
Or, if you’re so inspired, you can reinvest your payment into our company and we will use it to buy carbon
offsets to work towards a carbon neutral operation and to reach more customers like you. Together we
can save the planet, one gallon at a time.
**This system is contingent upon oil prices remaining above $85/barrel. If Prices drop below $85/barrel Smartfuel will reassess the system based on the new market conditions. But while prices remain at the current levels you will enjoy the highest payments ever made in New England for used fryolator oil. We are pretty sure we might be the only good part of oil prices going up!
Payment Schedule:
Payments are made quarterly in May (for oil we collected in January-March), August (for April-June), November (for July-September), and February (for October-December).
